Terms & Conditions​

These Terms & Conditions outline the use of this website and the offerings shared by The Sacred Studio.
By engaging with this site and entering into an agreement with the Studio, you accept these terms.
If anything feels unclear or uncertain, please feel free to reach out before proceeding.

1. Definitions

  • Studio: The Sacred Studio, located in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.

  • Client: Any individual or entity placing an order or entering into an agreement with the Studio.

  • Work: Handcrafted sculptural or visual pieces created by The Sacred Studio.

  • Agreement: The confirmed arrangement between the Studio and the Client for the creation and/or purchase of a Work.

2. Applicability

These terms apply to all offers, requests, and agreements made through this website or by direct communication with the Studio.
All agreements must be confirmed in writing.

3. Orders & Confirmation

All prices and offerings are communicated via email or formal quotation.
An Agreement is established once the Client confirms an order or commission in writing.

4. Creation & Delivery

Each piece is created by hand, with care and intention.
Estimated production time is 2 to 4 months, depending on studio flow and material availability.
Delivery is arranged in consultation with the Client. Shipping costs and logistics are quoted separately.

5. Reflection, Cancellation & Returns

Each LUMÍ is made to order. After receiving a confirmation email with all details, the Client has a 7-day reflection period to reconsider the request, free of charge and without obligation.

After this reflection period, confirmation requires a 50% non-refundable deposit to initiate the creation process. Once the deposit is received and creation has begun, the piece is uniquely initiated and can no longer be cancelled, returned, or refunded.

Because of the personal and handcrafted nature of each work, returns are not possible once creation has started.

6. Pricing & Payment

Final pricing will be communicated in writing before confirmation.

  • A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to begin the creation process.

  • The remaining 50% balance is due upon completion of the work, before delivery.

  • For international orders, all customs fees, VAT, or import duties are the responsibility of the Client.

7. Ownership & Intellectual Property

Ownership of the Work transfers only after full payment has been received.
All intellectual property rights remain with The Sacred Studio.
No images, text, or concepts may be copied, reproduced, or used without prior written permission.

8. Responsibility & Warranty

Each piece is carefully crafted, handled, and packaged with intention. Once shipped, The Sacred Studio is not responsible for damage caused by mishandling, misuse, or circumstances beyond the Studio’s control after delivery.

 

Should a piece arrive damaged due to transport, the Client must report this within 3 days of receipt, with clear documentation. After this period, no claims can be accepted.

 

The Sacred Studio cannot be held responsible for any damage occurring after the work has been safely received.
 

9. Force Majeure

The Studio cannot be held responsible for delays or issues caused by events beyond its control (e.g. natural disasters, illness, global disruptions).
If such events prevent the completion of the Agreement, both parties may agree to dissolve it.

10. Governing Law

All agreements are governed by Dutch law.
Any disputes will be addressed with mutual respect and — if needed — handled through the competent court in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
